New trailer and clips revealed for Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 6

From Star Wars :

“Dave Filoni and special guests celebrate the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and share a sneak peek at what’s to come.”

You can also watch the isolated trailer and clips in these videos, but their quality isn’t optimal.

I know right. Judging from what was said in the panel, the Bad Batch arc seems to be the only one untouched. How foolish i was for believing that this new episodes would have been the last bit of real Star Wars from George Lucas

Indeed. Was hoping for the same but it seems the Mouse mind tricked Filoni to get his way and once again tamper with some of Lucas’s final works…

Especially the Ahsoka arc, i don’t understand why change it so much. And well… the design of the two new characters definitely looks like something made in Disney Star Wars

I’m a little disappointed by this trailer; regrettably.

They’ve been working on this new season for over a year now, and it’ll still be several more months until it’s released, yet we are only getting 12 episodes. It seems underwhelming. What’s more is that it is appears very Ahsoka-centric (she’s central to 2/3 arcs), with little focus is on the main protagonists of the era: Anakin and Obi-Wan.

Why bring back The Clone Wars at all if it’s going to be half measures? I’m more excited for Episode IX now. Who would have guessed it!

Sorry, Archduke. But, I’m on the opposite side. I feel there is more positive energy for the return of The Clone Wars, at least both online along within the general public and based on the energy coming out of Star Wars Celebration, than Episode IX:The Rise Of Skywalker, because, at least these Clone Wars episodes will be the last of Star Wars that will contain a majority of George Lucas’s DNA and legacy, despite 1, 2 or 3 tweaks in a couple episodes, and I feel since people LOVE Filoni yet hate Kathy Kennedy, I feel that’s why most people are content with some changes, because, unlike Disney’s SW Sequel Trilogy which has little of Lucas’s DNA, these final episodes will have a lot of his DNA in it.

Also, just judging by the like to dislike aspect ratio on the Star Wars YouTube page, the Episode IX teaser has an 88% thumbs up, which is what both Solo trailers got, compared to the estimated 99% thumbs up the Clone Wars panel has, which has all three clips and the new trailer on the Star Wars YouTube channel video of the panel.

Plus, there are many feeling Palpatine’s return in Rise Of Skywalker, to them, is another example of Disney undermining Lucas’s saga, whereas the little tweaks in these Clone Wars episodes are not the end of the world.

I don’t disagree. I’m still looking forward to the Clone Wars, and personally I am big fan of many of the voice actors behind it. Much like you, I would love for Dave Filoni to replace Kennedy. He is the padowan of Lucas, and since his master stepped away he’s always been careful to remind me people of how he learned from him.

The late Republic is my favourite era in the saga, and I’m holding out hope this season isn’t the last.

Don’t hold your breath, Archduke. Filoni said on the Star Wars Show livestream at Celebration Chicago that this will be it as he doesn’t feel up to doing many multiple episodes. The only way we can change his mind is if we make sure Season 7 debuts to high record viewership on Disney+ when it debuts, which I expect is either New Year’s Eve 2019 or early 2020.

So, while I wouldn’t discourage you from being optimistic, I would advise you not to hold your breath.

And, the only way KK leaves is if Episode IX fails to make a billion, so, we’ll see if Cats from Universal and Melissa McCarthy’s SuperIntelligence provide heavy competition for TROS, since both are PG-rated while SW will be PG-13 rated.
