Warning! Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen The Mandalorian’s first episode.
There’s an intriguing reference to the Clone Troopers in The Mandalorian’s first episode. Notice the symbol on Doctor Pershing’s sleeve. The young clones wore the same symbol on their sleeves in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
Pershing is affiliated to a remnant of the Empire that hires the Mandalorian to track down someone. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the target is a 50-year-old baby of the same species as Yoda. Pershing had insisted that he wanted the Mandalorian to bring the target alive.
All of this suggests that Pershing could be linked to the Kaminoans and the cloning technology, and that he might want to clone the species of Yoda.

Does he? I can’t tell since they look exactly like regular glasses. So much for imagination…
