After many lame films, finally the Clone Wars returns to our screens!

Why do the bad batch clones look like bad knock offs of the Ren knights? Their armor should be more uniform than that. Heck even the clone commandos are more uniform. Plus the plot does not mesh well with AOTC where the Kaminoans are described as damn good cloners. Defective clones should be ultra rare for them.
Keep in mind this won’t be Lucas era TCW, it will be Disney’s TCW so who knows how much they will screw it up.

If any of the new story arcs has the chance of being the most faithful to Lucas, it’s this one, since we have the animatics to compare it too. IIRC, this is Lucas’ take on the Republic Commandos (which in the past were shoved into the series by Filoni, but wasn’t a concept created by Lucas himself). Defective clones are indeed rare, but I guess that’s established here too.

Unfortunately I have a sinking feeling that Disney is going to screw it up. Watch them ruin Anakin Skywalker (Like they did with Luke) by having him say something along the lines of “I love sand, it’s soft and smooth. Not like Padme who is coarse and irritating.” But one can only hope.
Speaking of the clone wars, what is your personal thoughts on Episode II: Attack of the Clones (in relation to the other films)? I ask that because I going to write a highly detailed review defending the film and I was hoping to include some of your thoughts.

I’m inlined the trust Filoni on this one. The only down side I can see as of now is the shortened run – it should be going for 2 more season as was planned before the cancellation.
AOTC is a very solid Star Wars film I’ve come to appreciate more over the years, as I’ve become more interested in politics and diplomacy. The romantic dialogue may not be perfect, but its detractors go way over the top.
I don’t think I’d be alone in saying I’d love to hear your highly defensive review!
