“The Jedi have fallen. Now you will rise. In STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™, hone your Force powers, master lightsaber combat, and learn to fight like a Jedi.
I second you, AD. Very polished graphics/aesthetics. Though, of course, EA are known for presentation. And yes, it looks solid in general. Something from the new Star Wars era that might actually be fun to play!
Yeah, the record of Star Wars video games under Disney thus far is appalling compared to what was done in the 2000s via Lucasarts. We shouldn’t get too ahead of ourselves on this one, but the fact that it’s single player is important.
As a prequelist, I love how close this is set so close to Revenge of the Sith. I hope they will be able to remind me us of that horrible, gruesome, Knight of the Long Knifes-like era instead of being wrapped up in the whole Millennium Falcon/ANH nostalgia which is a solid two decades down the timeline – and has been done to death at this stage. I want to be reminded of the utter turmoil, and the sheer trauma we witnessed in Lucas’s final film. The Empire would be still trying to assert itself, and the rebellion is a long way away.
