Naboo News is back!

Hi everyone,

Naboo News is back! I’ve made a new little website for the occasion.

The blog will still be a press review, but less general and more centred on prequel-related news. And I’ll voice my personal opinions more often.

These are interesting times for us Star Wars Prequel Trilogy fans. The Bad Batch, a spin-off from The Clone Wars, will premiere very soon. And the Obi-Wan Kenobi series has begun shooting this month.

“This is where the fun begins!”

See you soon!

It’s so great that you’re back. That we’re back. We’re all back.

Everything’s perfectly alright now. We’re fine. We’re all fine here, now, thank you.

But seriously: I’m happy that Naboo News is back and running. Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational prequel blog!

BTW, people, if you haven’t already, pleased read Anthony’s “About” section for this blog. Simple, to-the-point, and as Rick McCallum might say, f*cking awesome!!! Reproduced below:

Naboo News covers news about Star Wars, and particularly the legacy of Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

I believe that the Prequel Trilogy is a masterpiece and the pinnacle of the Star Wars franchise.

That’s what I like to hear. No more half baked, mumbled, stuttering excuses that pretend to defend the prequels. No more cringing, akward climbdowns that pretend to value George Lucas.

Anthony, you’re a true champion of the prequels, and have provided a very valuable platform for this particular fanbase since the crumbeleing and then demise of the Star Wars Prequel Apprecation Society.

        Happy to see you back.

PS: Do not worry if you don’t agree with us on every single thing. We’re united on the fundamentals and that’s what matters.

Fair play for getting the proper domain. That should certainly attract more visitors. It’s a nice clean name that should be recognisable to any half descent prequel fan.

I notice the changes in the comment section. There is no like button now? It would be nice to have that again, and the same for your own articles. I also notice that your articles don’t pop up in my WordPress feed anymore, even though you’re still using their software to build this website.

I’d be interested in @Cryogenic thoughts here.

What happened to SWPAS? Does anyone know? I hope lazypadawan is alright.

We also lost the “A Certain Point of View” blog many years ago, which was starting out great but was quickly abandoned when Disney bought Lucasfilm.
